The Quilting Arts magazine is sponsoring a contest right now that is titled "GO GREEN! Square Quilt Reader Challenge"
The point of the contest is to create a 5x5 inch quilt square WITHOUT buying anything, using whatever materials are already on hand.
The main "prize" is that they will print a picture of your square in the magazine. (I'd like that!)
So, here is my attempt, but as is often my problem, once I've completed the thing first I say "look, its finished!" quickly followed by "but is it good enough to even submit?"
So, since the deadline is still a couple of weeks away, I'm trying to decide exactly that -- is it good enough?
