and gramma made him promise to ride only if he was wearing his helmet (knowing full well that his most excellent parents will enforce that!)
originally there were "booster blocks" on the pedals so he could reach them -- he doesn't need those any more
he's looking good here!
meantime, I'm just trying to survive the heat -- it is 87 degrees at 10:45 am as I write this -- ick! hoping for some rain to cool things off
